GOD AND JESUS MAKE THEIR HOME WITH US

 

John 17:3  1 John 3:24  1 John 4:12,13   In John 17:21KJV “that they all MAY be one as you FATHER are in me and I in YOU that they also MAY be one in us.” 

John 17:23 “I in them and YOU in me that they MAY be made perfect in one”

The FATHER and Christ dwell in the elect saints.  They make their home with us.  Then just as the FATHER dwelt in Christ and did all the works, the healings, the raising of the dead, calming the storm and walking on water and everything else that people saw Jesus do were actually done by the FATHER. John 5:30  John 14:10  John 7:16  Even all the words Jesus spoke were his FATHERS words.  This same thing is now done in the elect saints because GOD and Christ dwell in us.  Now, “that they MAY be one as we are one”, the word “may” indicates a condition to becoming “ONE”.  Salvation requires that the elect submit to GOD and Christ and not quench or grieve the working of GODS spirit in us to do the works of GODS love.  This is related to the parable of the talents.  If we do not love we will not be yielding to the spirit and have buried our talent, the gift of the spirit in us.  If we submit to the spirit so that GODS work of love flows through us then we gain more talents, we grow in the spirit, we do not quench or grieve the spirit. GOD invested HIS spirit in us at the cost of HIS sons life and HE expects a return on HIS investment.  There is no excuse for not growing in the spirit because GOD will do all the works in you if you cooperate with HIM.  Philippians 2:13  Noncooperation is a bad thing, cooperation is a good thing.  Do the good thing.  Never allow yourself to become luke warm like the Laodiceans.  GOD will, out of the blue, place you in a situation where you can apply HIS love to your neighbor and when this happens respond with that love.  You cannot plan these events, GOD does, and in this it is known that the works were not your own works but GODS works.  You can’t plan for something that you have no idea is coming.  It seems that in the minds of the unconverted in their churches, that they do the work of planning of things and thinking their works please GOD but they can’t because it was their works not GODS.  

When the FATHER and Christ dwell in you GOD has planned out the works,  Ephesians 2:10  notice, GOD prepared good works IN ADVANCE for us to do, so if GOD planned the works in advance how are we to know them until they come upon by surprise.  Christ and his FATHER desire to make us one with them, the “may” then is conditional upon us yielding to GOD. 

For myself and all of GODS elect I pray that the word “may” will be “make” in the day of Christ Jesus.  GOD, who began this work of HIS love in us is able to complete it at the return of Jesus.   Philippians 1:6  because, Philippians 2:13  Our part in all of this is to respond to GODS love by loving HIM back and submitting to HIS will, if we do this our calling and election will be sure.

FOR ALL YOU JEHOVAHAS WITNESSES OUT THERE

 

 This article is written in love for all my readers who have been or may yet be in the cult of the Jehovahs Witnesses.  When you became a member you were baptized into this belief system.  It was mandatory that you be in agreement with all the teachings of the governing body or you would be in big trouble, isn’t that right ?   Now, below I have listed some of the beliefs that you embraced when you made the commitment by baptism into the Jehovahs Witnesses.  If I am in error on any of these please let me know in the comments.

1. Jesus preexisted as Michael the arch angel and was the first creation of GOD.

2. Only 144,000 of the membership will go to heaven and from there rule with Christ.

3. Only these 144,000 can partake of the bread and wine.

4. The refusal of blood transfusions.

5. The insistence that Jesus was crucified on a stake and not a cross. (This is irrelevant to the faith)

6. That the group of witnesses not included in the 144,000 will live forever in the flesh as a human beings on paradise Earth.

7. That the kingdom of GOD was established in heaven in 1914.

8. That Satan was cast out of heaven in 1914.

9. Rulership is by a governing body composed of the 144,000.

10. They keep the new covenant Passover only once a year coinciding with the Old Testament Passover date of Nisan 14th.  (This is old covenant)

11. They conduct door to door evangelism in the attempt to fulfill the great commission.

12. They say the Ten Commandments have been abolished by Jesus’s sacrifice.

13.  They claim to be Jehovahs “witnesses” or a person or persons that have actually seen an event as it was taking place.  A witness must see and or hear a real time event in order to testify as to its truthfulness and accuracy.

14. They insist that GODS name is Jehovah.

15. They believe Jesus was raised from the dead spiritually not physically.

16. Their baptism is into their organization not into Christ alone. They see baptism also as one’s dedication to Jehovah and his earthly organization.  They accept the teachings of Jesus but link baptism to the organization of the Jehovahs Witnesses. This is what other churches in the world do. Baptism is directly linked to the teachings of each church. 

17. They believe Jesus was crucified on Friday and resurrected on Sunday.

These 17 teachings of the Jehovahs Witnesses can be easily proven to be irrelevant nonsense or false by the scriptures.

 Just as with all other earthly false churches they fall prey to the doctrines invented by carnal minds. They do have some things that are correct but these only serve as a lure to hook the people into joining them just as this method is used by Satan in all other false churches. Other examples are the law deception by Herbert W. Armstrong or the false claims of Anthony Buzzard.  Satan will allow a little truth but then mix it with a lot of lies.  This violates the spiritual principle of “no lie is of the truth”.  1 John 2:21 and the scriptures cannot be broken.  Matthew 14:32  2 Timothy 3:16 

If you came out of the cult of the Jehovahs Witnesses the only way this could happen is that GOD would give you a portion of HIS spirit to see the deception you were in.  The baptism you had in the cult was false because, “he who BELIEVES and is baptized”, you must come to know the truth and the truth will set you free. You were baptized into a cult and now that the spirit of GOD has brought you out, you need the one true baptism in Christ.  I was in the cult of the Worldwide Church of God and after being led out by the spirit I came to see that my baptism into this cult was a lie and I was then baptized in the name of Jesus only.  After this my growth in the Spirit accelerated dramatically and I was able to eat meat and not just drink milk. The same thing will happen to anyone in any cult if GOD decides to call you out of it.   

When GOD speaks to us by HIS Spirit to our spirit we do not always perceive this and think it is our own thoughts.  I did this too at first but then it dawned on me that hey, I didn’t know these things, I was ignorant of them, how could they have originated in me ?  I am not that smart.  These thoughts were going against everything I was taught by the cult I was in.  Then I realized it was GOD giving me those thoughts.  How can you or I think about something we are totally ignorant of ?  It’s like trying to teach a cat algebra.  Over time we learn to recognize this voice in our minds and learn to trust the voice.  I have heard this voice many times since I was first converted.  We don’t control when this voice speaks it just does when GOD speaks to us by a voice.  Psalm 62:11  Job 26:14   Hebrews 1:2   Hebrews 3:15   Acts 10:15   Jesus said his FATHERS  Spirit is what leads us into all truth.  John 16:13  Were you guided into all truth in the JW’s ?  

I was not alone in this experience there were several others of GODS elect that were called and chosen along with me and we were all taught by GOD through Jesus Christ.  I have said before that all of GODS elect saints are prophets and prophetesses receiving divine revelation teaching from GOD.  We all learn from the FATHER through Jesus.  John 6:45. Isaiah 54:13   1 John 2:27   John 10:27  1 Corinthians 2:10-13   John 14:26    

While I have focused on the Jehovahs Witnesses in this article I point out the fact that all the false churches on this Earth are cults too.

GOD can  give HIS spirit before baptism.  All the ancient saints before Jesus had the Holy Spirit but were circumcised not baptized. When Jesus went to John the Baptist to be baptized it wasn’t for himself but for those ancient elect saints in order to, “fulfill all righteousness”  Matthew 3:15  and “confirm the promises” made to  the fathers.  Jesus was the promised seed of Abraham.  Romans 15:8  Acts 3:25-26  Acts 13:32-33  After the baptism by John circumcision was abolished in the church and baptism took its place. How can your baptism be valid if you were baptized into an angels death ? Did an angel die for you or was it the human son of GOD.  Once you are led by GODS spirit to believe the truth then you need to be baptized into Christ.

Please do not be offended by this article.  As I said in the beginning of it, it was written in GODLY love. As someone who has been in Christ now for over 30 years I know what I have written here is true.  When Peter commanded that Cornelius was to be baptized there was no objection from Cornelius.  Cornelius desired to obey the command of Jesus.  Many have said to me that this is a personal decision but it is not if it is a command, is it.  There are 4 witnesses I know who can testify to the truth written here because they all have experienced it. 

NEW REVELATION

There has been new revelation that I want to share with you.

When we talk about works like "Faith without works is dead.  James 2:26  and  Ephesians 2:8-9  here appears to be a contradiction in these two verses but the works mentioned in both verses are not the same works.  The works James wrote about are the works of GOD in you as Paul agrees with, Philippians 2:13.  The works Paul mentions in Ephesians 2:8-9 are the works of the law.  So then, our works in the law are not GODS works, they are ours but The works of faith are the works of GOD.

Under the old covenant ten commandments Israel was commanded to do the works of the law.   Since salvation is not of works there are no works to perform in the new covenant that were in the old covenant.  In the new covenant our works are done in us by GOD, Isaiah 26:12KJV , we are HIS workmanship, and HE has prepared these works,  Ephesians 2:10  to fulfill what the ten commandments could not do. Romans 8:3  GOD works in us with HIS love to change our nature to be like HIS and Christs nature. 2 Peter 1:4  GOD gives us the will and ability to live by the two greatest of all commandments that HE revealed through Jesus. Matthew 22:37,30,39,40  Philippians 2:13 We then become partakers of the divine nature and do by nature GODS will and not by being commanded to do so by ten commandments. What was formerly done by command is now done because it is our will.  

Sinful human nature must be changed to overcome sin. We must live as Jesus lived. Jesus was totally dependent on his FATHER for everything and not on the old covenant because Jesus is the new covenant, Isaiah 42:6 and if we are in Christ we will be transformed to be wholly dependent on GOD just as Jesus was. John 5:19,30  John 8:28  John 14:10  Of himself Jesus could do nothing and neither can we, we rely totally on GOD for everything.   GODS love cannot sin and this love in us by HIS spirit enables us to overcome sin. Romans 5:5  Love is the fulfillment of the ten commandments.  Romans 13:10  The two greatest commandments given by Jesus have taken their place.  The ten commandments are waxing old and obsolete.  Hebrews 8:13

 The old covenant also had a curse. Deuteronomy 28:15-68   To enter the old covenant you had to be circumcised and swear an oath to keep all 613 of GODS laws.  Deuteronomy 29:12  According to Jesus the old covenant was not abolished and every word remains till all things are fulfilled.  Matthew 5:17,18  Therefore all of the old covenant laws are still in effect, ALL OF THEM, but not on the church.  Christians are told by Jesus to not make oaths so this would exclude them from even keeping the ten commandments as presented in the old covenant. Matthew 5:33,34,35,36,37  Physical circumcision is know to be useless.  The ten commandments were the ministry of death, 2 Corinthians 3:7 but the new covenant is the ministry of the holy spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:8  Under the provisions of the old covenant all Israel, by their own efforts, and with no help from GOD had to keep all 613 commandments of the law.  All people today that place themselves under the ten commandments have placed themselves under all 613 commandments of the old covenant and are responsible to obey all the provisions  that the covenant demanded. The old covenant was not to be altered in any way so the benefits of the new covenant cannot be added to the old covenant.  People under the old covenant ten commandments are not in the new covenant.   GOD makes the rules and not men.  It is abundantly clear that there are two covenants but only one saves. 

 Better choose the right one.  Ephesians 3:20,21  Keeping the ten commandments is your work in the old covenant and breaking even one brings death and this is why Paul called the ten commandments the ministry of death. 2 Corinthians 3:7   God told us this in Zechariah 4:6  Not our power , not our might, but by GODS holy spirit are the works of GOD that HE does through us just as they were done through Jesus Christ.  Jesus told us these things, Paul told us these things and the prophets told us these things, why do so many not believe these things ?  The answer,  John 8:47
