Impeccable 2

To be tempted is not, in and of itself, sinful. A person could tempt you with something you have no desire to do, such as committing murder or participating in sexual perversions. You probably have no desire whatsoever to take part in these actions, but you were still tempted because someone placed the possibility before you. There are at least two definitions for the word “tempted”:

1) To have a sinful proposition suggested to you by someone or something outside yourself or by your own sin nature.

2) To consider actually participating in a sinful act and the possible pleasures and consequences of such an act to the degree that the act is already taking place in your mind.

The first definition does not describe a sinful act/thought; the second does. When you dwell upon a sinful act and consider how you might be able to bring it to pass, you have crossed the line of sin. Jesus was tempted in the fashion of definition one except that He was never tempted by a sin nature because it did not exist within Him. Satan proposed certain sinful acts to Jesus, but He had no inner desire to participate in the sin. Therefore, He was tempted like we are but remained sinless.

Those who hold to peccability believe that, if Jesus could not have sinned, He could not have truly experienced temptation, and therefore could not truly empathize with our struggles and temptations against sin. We have to remember that one does not have to experience something in order to understand it. God knows everything about everything. While God has never had the desire to sin, and has most definitely never sinned, God knows and understands what sin is. God knows and understands what it is like to be tempted. Jesus can empathize with our temptations because He knows, not because He has “experienced” all the same things we have.

Jesus knows what it is like to be tempted, but He does not know what it is like to sin. This does not prevent Him from assisting us. We are tempted with sins that are common to man (1 Corinthians 10:13). These sins generally can be boiled down to three different types: “the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life” (1 John 2:16 NKJV). Examine the temptation and sin of Eve, as well as the temptation of Jesus, and you will find that the temptations for each came from these three categories. Jesus was tempted in every way and in every area that we are, but remained perfectly holy. Although our corrupt natures will have the inner desire to participate in some sins, we have the ability, through Christ, to overcome sin because we are no longer slaves to sin but rather slaves of God (Romans 6, especially verses 2 and 16-22).

The law could not change the Satanic nature in humanity but God sent His son into this world to show us His very own nature in the Christ so that if we believe we too can become impeccable when born into the kingdom. The companion article below shows our “human nature” compaired with the nature of Jesus.

Human Nature

The nature all humans have when born and come of age is evil.  All unconverted people are children of Satan who is the god of this world.

KJV 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
 3.  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
 4.  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

KJV Romans 3:23
 23.  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

KJV Ecclesiastes 7:20
 20.  For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

KJV Acts 26:18
 18.  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

KJV John 8:44-45
44.  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
 45.  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

All carnal people are sinners and cut off from Yahweh and condemned to death.  This evil nature is not how Yahweh created humanity.  Adam and Eve we're not created evil and did not have the knowledge needed to sin until Yahweh told Adam about the forbidden tree.  This was the extent of Adams knowledge of good and evil and before this Adam was incapable of sin due to his ignorance.  After this knowledge Adam became a potential sinner, then when Adam ate from the tree he became a sinner.  Adams sin and the evil sinful nature was not normal but abnormal from how he was created.  Adam took on the nature of Satan.  Satan became Adams god as well as all the children of humanity after Adam.  Human nature was drastically changed by Adams sin.  Jesus was called the second Adam because Jesus was the first human being of a second Genesis, a new creation, the first born.  Yahweh created His son with His own nature or character of righteousness and love.  Jesus was the express image of his God and Father, an exact copy in every detail.

Strong's Ref. # 5481
Transliteration:  charakter
Pronounced: khar'-ak-tar
Definition: from the same as 5482; a graver(the tool of a person) that is by implication engraving character the figure stamped that is an exact copy or representation
or express image
KJV--express image

Jesus had to be made flesh so that he could die and through his sacrifice become the Messiah.  Jesus was incapable of sin and could not be tempted to do evil but unlike Adam Jesus had knowledge whereas Adam had very little.  What Yahweh had desired for Adam Jesus actually was.  Jesus was the only being, angelic or human, that Yahweh ever created that had Yahweh’s nature in all fullness.  Jesus was never ignorant or a potential sinner as Adam was.  Adam was "tselem" a mere shadow and poor copy of Yahweh's image whereas Jesus was an exact copy.

KJV--  image
Strong's Ref. # 6754
Romanized  tselem
Pronounced tseh'-lem
from an unused root meaning to shade; a phantom, i.e. (figuratively) illusion, resemblance; hence, a representative figure, especially an idol:
KJV--image, vain shew.

The human Spirit of Jesus was like what we will be when we are in the kingdom of God.  Jesus is proof to us that Yahweh can change our current evil satanic nature to be like Jesus the man who was created an exact copy of Yahweh's character or nature.  The man Jesus destroyed the work of the Devil that was done in the garden of Eden.

KJV 1 John 3:8
 8.  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Jesus was a man, a human being, who was the very first to enter the kingdom of God.  Sin, nor it's potential, will exist in the kingdom, and Jesus entered that kingdom. Jesus already had a perfect human Spirit but needed to become an immortal spirit being.  The life of the impeccable Jesus would be the sufficient price for the atonement of humanity anything less would be insufficient.

Lucifer was an immortal spirit being, an arc angel.  Lucifer and all the angels had free will but were not created by Yahweh impeccable.  A third of the angels, led by Lucifer, rebelled against Yahweh and Lucifer became Satan the devil.  The two thirds that remained loyal to Yahweh were sealed in righteousness or made impeccable.  Immortality does not produce impeccability.  Impeccability is the direct product of righteousness, the love of Yahweh, developed in either angels or humans.  Jesus of Nazareth was created with this righteous character of Yahweh from his mothers womb.

KJV Psalms 22:10
 10.  I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

Jesus was sealed in this express image of Yahweh’s character from birth.

KJV John 6:27
 27.  Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Strong's Ref. # 4972-sealed
Romanized  sphragizo
Pronounced sfrag-id'-zo
from GSN4973; to stamp (with a signet or private mark) for security or preservation (literally or figuratively); by implication, to keep secret, to attest:
KJV--(set a, set to) seal up, stop.

Immortal angels sinned and Adam and Eve sinned because they were not impeccable, they did not have the character or express image of Yahweh.  The fallen angels and Adam and Eve were potential sinners because the character or express image of Yahweh was not in them.  There is no such thing as potential sin after these angels and Adam and Eve sinned; Satan and the fallen angels are sinners and so are all human beings.  After these events only two types of beings exist; those who are sinners and those who are incapable of sin.

The holy angels were commanded by Yahweh to worship Jesus.

KJV Hebrews 1:6
 6.  And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Jesus was a human being when the angels worshipped him.  Worship is always from the lower being toward the higher being; in this case from angels to the human Jesus.  What made Jesus higher than these angels?  It was the fact that Jesus was from his beginning impeccable while the angels were not.  Would impeccable angels worship a potential sinner?  If Jesus was like us in every way do angels worship us? Jesus was created with the express image or character of Yahweh while no other being ever was.  Jesus was, is and will be the only being that Yahweh ever created this way, there will never be another.  Jesus was Yahweh’s only begotten son, the spitting image of his daddy.  This is why Jesus is deserving of the same honor as Yahweh.  To call Jesus a potential sinner is to dishonor Jesus and his Father.  Lucifer was a potential sinner after Yahweh created him and later he did sin.  Imagine;  Lucifer actually saw all the glory of Yahweh and was immortal yet that potential to sin eventually came to the surface.  What if you from your birth never sinned but had the potential to sin but all your life you made good choices and never sinned;  would this qualify you to be the messiah?  You would possess the evil nature from Adam and Satan would be your god and you are cut off from Yahweh because of this.  Was Jesus Christ in this situation as a human being?  Was Jesus a man like all men in every way having our fallen nature and the potential to sin?  Spiritual surgery is needed for those who say Jesus was a potential sinner.  People who believe this lie need to listen to other opinions and not be closed minded as if they are a cult.

No one who is a sinner or potential sinner can have direct contact with Yahweh yet Jesus did, there was no mediator between Jesus and Yahweh.  Jesus was conceived in Mary’s womb by the power of Yahweh’s  spirit.  The body and human spirit, the soul of Jesus, came directly from Yahweh.  Jesus was born of Yahweh.

KJV 1 John 3:9
9.  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

The seed (spirit) of Yahweh remained on Jesus.

KJV Psalms 89:4
 4.  Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

KJV Psalms 89:26-29
 26.  He shall cry unto me, thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
 27.  Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
 28.  My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
 29.  His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

KJV Psalms 89:36-37
 36.  His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
 37.  It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

KJV John 1:32-34
 32.  And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
 33.  And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
 34.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

Jesus claimed that he saw Yahweh.

KJV John 6:45-46
45.  It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
 46.  Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Jesus told us that we need to be perfect as Yahweh is perfect.  Would Jesus demand this of us if he was not as perfect as Yahweh being a potential sinner?  If so Jesus would be a hypocrite.

I do not know where the teaching of Jesus being a potential sinner originated but I do know that Anthony Buzzard and his Restoration Church teach this lie.  An extraordinary portion of their web site is devoted to proving Jesus is not Yahweh and there is only one being, the Father, who is Yahweh.  I totally agree with Anthony Buzzard that Jesus is not Yahweh but totally disagree that Jesus was a potential sinner; a man who was like all men in every way with a fallen nature just like all human beings, that by making good choices for his 33 years of life never sinned.  They arrive at this conclusion  by not even knowing what sin really is, misquoting James 1:13 saying God cannot be tempted when indeed many have tempted God but the verse says “with evil”  which they do not include.  They totally do not understand the temptation of Jesus by Satan, saying it would be a charade if Jesus could not be tempted; but this event was to show us that we did have a messiah that could not be tempted with evil just as Yahweh cannot be tempted with evil, Jesus did not sin, did he.  All of this twisting of scripture and ignorance on their part is driven by their obsession to find additional proof that Jesus is not God.  Satan has slipped in a back door and fed them a lie which they do not realize because of their blindness caused by their obsession.  Anthony Buzzard and all of his followers need some “spiritual surgery” to cut out this lie and come to see the truth.  Only Yahweh can do this surgery if it is His will for them at this time.
